For 25 years, Ivan Brandslund has been a laboratory director and chief physician at Vejle Hospital and at the same time held a lecturer in teaching and research at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU). He is the author of over 150 scientific articles on the development and application of methods for rational diagnostics and control of human disease treatment. In recent years, especially in blood thinning treatment, cancer and diabetes. Ivan Brandslund is a specialist in clinical biochemistry at OUH and holds a scientific career from SDU and as an international research fellow at Dept. His future research efforts will focus on biochemical nanotechnology methods that will enable measurement of single cell protein, RNA and DNA for diagnostic and individual treatment management in cancer and diabetes based on the isolation of cancer cells in a blood sample and on blood indicator proteins, in collaboration with oncologists And diabetes doctors in the Region of Southern Denmark. Ivan Brandslund is a partner in the National Diabetes Type 2 project, DD2, with analysis / biobank functions, and groups in cancer research, among others.
